The challenge
AI teams work across editors, terminals, design tools, and native applications. Design rules and project decisions can be lost as work moves between them.
Memi gives people and tools a shared design memory they can inspect and carry into the next task.
The approach
The system connects a command-line interface, MCP integrations, and a native workbench through shared design context.
The workbench shows which model is running, whether the environment is ready, what a tool did, and where a person can review the next action.
Design decisions
- Show the current state. Put readiness and run controls beside the work.
- Keep actions reviewable. Use tool traces to show what happened.
- Connect the tools. Use a consistent design vocabulary in the terminal and workbench.
The result
Memi brings design context, AI tooling and review controls into one product. This case study presents Sarvesh’s product and engineering work; it does not claim client results.
